Chandeliers are used from centuries in our world. Chandeliers hold a great place in our history. They are sign of luxury and royalty. They changed the whole atmosphere whenever they are used. Chandeliers were very costly in past so mostly people can’t afford them. They were just limited to rich people. You can only see them in Palaces hotel and villas. Manufacturing is also very difficult at that time. The designer works very carefully because they are using very costly rubies and Crystal and they work in perfection. Today also designers are using crystal and rubies in there modern chandeliers.

There are many types of crystals that we are using are:-

·        The Swarovski Crystal

This is world’s toughest and finest crystal. They are primary found in Australia continent. This crystal is very beautiful and clear just like water many people use the term “crystal clear” for that crystal. They are used with gold silver and many types of other metals. They are very costly and used in crystal chandeliers.

·        Hand-Cut Crystals

They are very reflective in nature. They are cut by different method. 1^st is to cut them by iron wheel and 2^nd is to cut them by sandstone wheel. After that they are polished on wood wheel with marble dust. These types of crystals are used in antique chandeliers and also they are very costly.

·        Legacy Crystals

Legacy crystals also known as venetian crystals. They are made in Venice. Today we are using mostly this type of crystals. They give your house a European look and they enhance your home complete look. Mostly people use them in dining room and lobbies.

·        Vintage Crystals

These are antique crystals that people used in grand housed. Just single chandelier has a power to change your home design completely. They are very costly and most people can’t afford them. They can be seen in royal palaces and hotels. They are also used by many manufactures in modern chandeliers

                     

·        Rock Crystals

You can compare them with diamonds. They are just like them rock solid and they remain same for many centuries. They are very rare so you can’t see them every day. They also are very expensive. 

·        Lead Crystals

               

These crystals are made of glass and tempered with led. People also called them 30 percent led crystals. They are cheap in nature. So everyone can afford them. Also they are very beautiful. They give authentic look to modern chandeliers.
